The International School of Western Australia is located within the western suburb of Doubleview in Perth, Western Australia.
Close to the ocean and city-centre, our modern campus is nestled amongst Perth’s premium suburbs. It offers great transport networks and is surrounded by cafes, shopping centres, sports amenities, child-care and community clubs.
The school offers everything necessary to support a world-class education for students. In addition to large classrooms, the school includes science labs, drama & art studios, library, gymnasium, tennis courts and basketball courts, large playing fields and nature-based playgrounds.
Award-winning Facilities
Our campus combines new with old – retaining and refurbishing heritage buildings of a former school site as well as constructing a new two-story teaching block, arts precinct, and gymnasium. The areas are known as:
Shaded green spaces complement the new buildings, which are landscaped with natural flora and include five purpose-built and award-winning nature-inspired playgrounds.
Modern Campus
In June 2020, ISWA relocated to a purpose-built new campus at 193 St Brigids Terrace, Doubleview. The campus has been built and is owned by the Department of Education, with ISWA entering into a long term lease agreement. The negotiated change of location has enabled ISWA to provide teaching and learning in modern, purpose-built facilities which have been designed for today’s educational needs.
Prior to the modern campus, ISWA leased the former City Beach High School site from the Department of Education for 13 years, between 2007 – 2020.
Parking
ISWA has 80 on-site bays and 30 designated street bays available.
We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we are on, the Whadjuk (Perth region) people and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge, respect and seek to learn from their wisdom, continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
