ISWA provides a carefully constructed academic calendar that meets the needs of our local and international students – from entry to graduation.
Like most schools in the UK, US and Europe, ISWA offers a northern hemisphere inspired academic calendar to suit the complex needs of many of our international students.
To reflect our local community, ISWA offers a four-term academic year, similarly as all other schools in Western Australia. We offer thirteen weeks of holiday, including extended breaks each December to January and June to July.
Calendar Details
Our academic calendar commences in late July and concludes the following June.
Due to our unique calendar, we invite families to discuss their preferred year group of entry with our Admissions Officer before the enrolment process begins.

We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we are on, the Whadjuk (Perth region) people and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
